Banana Oatmeal Bars

Soft, chewy Banana Oatmeal Bars made with wholesome oats, ripe bananas, and a hint of cinnamon. Perfect for breakfast, snacks, or healthy on-the-go bites.

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil or butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips or chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • 2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
  • 3. Add honey, coconut oil, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  • 4. Stir in oats, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt until combined.
  • 5. Fold in chocolate chips or nuts if using.
  • 6. Pour mixture into prepared pan and spread evenly.
  • 7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and set.
  • 8. Cool completely before slicing into bars.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days or freeze for longer storage.
  • Add peanut butter or protein powder for extra energy.
  • These bars make a great pre-workout snack or breakfast on the go.
