Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a small 4-inch round cake pan.
  • 2. In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • 3. In another bowl, whisk egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
  • 4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  • 5. Pour batter into pan and bake for 18–20 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
  • 6. Cool completely before frosting.
  • 7. Whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  • 8. Frost the cooled cake and decorate with sprinkles, fruits, or flowers.
  • 9. Personalize with a cute anniversary message.
