Blueberry Cream Cheese Puff Pastry

A delicious and easy dessert combining creamy cheese and fresh blueberries, wrapped in flaky puff pastry.

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the sheet of puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into squares.
  3. Combine the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl and mix until smooth.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture on a pastry square and add a few blueberries.
  5. Fold the pastry over the filling and seal the edges.
  6. Beat the egg and apply egg wash to the tops of the pastries.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly on a wire rack and dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

These pastries are best enjoyed warm. Serve with whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream for an indulgent treat.
