  • For the crust & crumble:
  • 1 1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • Blueberry filling:
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  • 2. Mix oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in melted butter until crumbly.
  • 3. Reserve 3/4 cup crumble for topping. Press remaining into bottom of pan.
  • 4. Toss blueberries with sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Spread over crust.
  • 5. Sprinkle reserved crumble over blueberries.
  • 6. Bake 40-45 minutes until golden and bubbly. Cool completely before cutting.

Notes

  • Use frozen blueberries if fresh unavailable.
  • Chill before cutting for cleaner slices.
