Breakfast Rolls

Fluffy, golden breakfast rolls filled with eggs, cheese, and savory sausage the perfect make-ahead morning treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 rolls)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 lb breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted
  • Optional: chopped chives or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • 2. In a skillet, cook sausage until browned. Drain and set aside.
  • 3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Scramble eggs until just set.
  • 4. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  • 5. Spoon a bit of scrambled egg, sausage, and cheese onto the wide end of each triangle.
  • 6. Roll up tightly and place on baking sheet.
  • 7. Brush with melted butter and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • 8. Serve warm, garnished with chives or parsley if desired.

Notes

  • You can make these rolls ahead of time and reheat them in the oven.
  • Try swapping sausage for bacon or ham.
  • Add a bit of hot sauce or jalapeños for a spicy kick!
