- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 rolls)
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 lb breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
- Optional: chopped chives or parsley for garnish
- 1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2. In a skillet, cook sausage until browned. Drain and set aside.
- 3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Scramble eggs until just set.
- 4. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
- 5. Spoon a bit of scrambled egg, sausage, and cheese onto the wide end of each triangle.
- 6. Roll up tightly and place on baking sheet.
- 7. Brush with melted butter and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- 8. Serve warm, garnished with chives or parsley if desired.
Notes
- You can make these rolls ahead of time and reheat them in the oven.
- Try swapping sausage for bacon or ham.
- Add a bit of hot sauce or jalapeños for a spicy kick!
