Cajun Steak Tips in Cheesy Rigatoni Parmesan Sauce: Bold Flavors Unite

  • 1.5 lbs sirloin steak tips, cut into 1-inch pieces”, “12 oz rigatoni pasta”, “2 tablespoons paprika”, “1 tablespoon garlic powder,
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder,
  • 1 teaspoon oregano,
  • 1 teaspoon thyme,
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper,
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper,
  • 1 teaspoon salt,
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil,
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced,
  • 1 cup heavy cream,
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese,
  • 2 tablespoons butter,
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth,
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Mix all cajun spices together. Pat steak tips dry and season with cajun blend. Let rest 15 minutes at room temperature. Cook rigatoni according to package directions.
  • Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear seasoned steak tips 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • In same skillet, sauté garlic 30 seconds. Add chicken broth, then heavy cream. Bring to gentle simmer, then gradually whisk in parmesan cheese and butter.
  • Return steak tips to sauce, add cooked rigatoni and toss to combine. Cook 2-3 minutes until heated through. Serve immediately with fresh parsley.
