  • 1 cup Mushrooms, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Cheese, shredded (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • Herbs (optional, e.g., thyme or parsley)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Melt butter in a skillet and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add mushrooms and cook until softened. Season with salt, pepper, and herbs.
  3. Cut a pocket into each chicken breast and stuff with the mushroom mixture.
  4. Place the stuffed chicken breasts in a baking dish, drizzle with olive oil, and season again with salt and pepper.
  5. Top each breast with shredded cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
