Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a standard 12-cup muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray.
  • 2. In a medium bowl, combine softened butter, chives, and minced garlic for the filling.
  • 3. Unroll one crescent sheet and roll lightly with a rolling pin to seal perforations. Spread ⅓ of the butter mixture over the dough, then sprinkle with 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese.
  • 4. Starting from the long end, tightly roll into a log. Cut log in half crosswise, then cut each half lengthwise into 2 pieces (4 total per sheet). Repeat with remaining 2 sheets for 12 pieces total.
  • 5. Take one piece with layers facing out and roll tightly into a spiral. Place in prepared muffin tin. Repeat with remaining pieces.
  • 6. Bake 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Meanwhile, mix melted butter, garlic, chives, and salt for topping.
  • 7. Brush warm cruffins with garlic butter topping and serve.
