  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Optional: chopped cooked bacon or sausage

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and spread the frozen hash browns evenly at the bottom.
  3. Add the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the hash browns.
  4. Mix the large eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl until well combined.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the hash browns and cheese.
  6. Add optional cooked bacon or sausage on top of the egg mixture.
  7. Refrigerate overnight, covered with foil.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes.
  9. Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
