- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup cherries, pitted and halved
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- Powdered sugar for dusting

- 2. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- 3. Beat in eggs one at a time.

- 6. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients alternately with milk.
