A delightful twist on classic tiramisu, combining the rich flavors of Amaretto and fresh cherries, creating a creamy and fruity dessert perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and halved
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup Amaretto liqueur
  • 1 cup strong coffee, cooled
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Whip the cream: Start by taking a large bowl. Add the heavy cream and powdered sugar to the bowl. Using an electric mixer, whip the cream until soft peaks form.
  2. Prepare the mascarpone mixture: In another bowl, mix the mascarpone cheese with the Amaretto liqueur until smooth.
  3. Combine the mixtures: Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone and Amaretto mixture using a spatula.
  4. Prepare the ladyfingers: Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee, ensuring not to soak them.
  5. Layer the ingredients: Begin by layering the dipped ladyfinger cookies at the bottom of a serving dish.
  6. Add the mascarpone layer: Spread a thick layer of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  7. Incorporate the cherries: Sprinkle a layer of halved cherries over the mascarpone mixture.
  8. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of mascarpone on top.
  9. Dust with cocoa powder: Generously dust the top layer with cocoa powder.
  10. Chill: Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  11. Serve: Cut into squares and plate. Enjoy!
