Cherry Pie Bites

These easy Cherry Pie Bites are mini puff pastry treats filled with sweet cherry pie filling and topped with a golden sugar crust the perfect bite-sized dessert for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp coarse sugar or regular sugar
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • 2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 3-inch squares.
  • 3. Place a small spoonful of cherry pie filling in the center of each square.
  • 4. Fold corners toward the center and pinch lightly to seal.
  • 5. Brush tops with beaten egg mixed with water.
  • 6. Sprinkle with coarse sugar.
  • 7. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown and puffy.
  • 8. Cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar, if desired.

Notes

  • You can use any fruit pie filling you like apple, blueberry, or raspberry.
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
