Chicken Broth Dog Biscuits Recipe

Chicken Broth Dog Biscuits are simple, wholesome homemade treats made with just three ingredients – perfect for rewarding your pup with a healthy, chicken-flavored snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour (or oat flour for grain-free)
  • 1/3 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil or olive oil
  • Optional: 1 tsp peanut butter for extra flavor

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • 2. In medium bowl, combine flour, chicken broth, and oil. Mix until dough forms. Add extra broth 1 tsp at a time if too dry.
  • 3. On lightly floured surface, roll dough to 1/8-1/4 inch thickness.
  • 4. Cut into shapes using cookie cutters or pizza cutter. Place on baking sheet.
  • 5. Bake 15-20 minutes until golden. For crunchier biscuits, turn off oven and leave inside until completely cool.

Notes

  • Use low-sodium chicken broth to protect pup’s kidneys.
  • Store airtight up to 2 weeks or freeze 3 months.
  • Whole wheat flour adds nutrition; sub rice flour for sensitive stomachs.
  • Perfect small batch – always bake fresh!
