Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole

A cozy, creamy Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole that combines tender chicken, savory ham, and melty Swiss cheese under a buttery breadcrumb topping all the classic flavors without the fuss.

  • 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
  • 1 1/2 cups diced ham
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed Ritz crackers or breadcrumbs
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • 2. In a large bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, sour cream, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • 3. Add chicken and ham to the mixture and stir to coat evenly.
  • 4. Spread the mixture into the prepared baking dish and top evenly with shredded Swiss cheese.
  • 5. In a small bowl, mix crushed crackers with melted butter, then sprinkle over the top.
  • 6. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  • 7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or a side salad.
  • You can substitute provolone or mozzarella for Swiss cheese if preferred.
  • Make ahead: assemble and refrigerate up to 24 hours before baking.
