  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, diced or shredded
  • 1 cup cooked ham, diced
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • 1. Melt butter and olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • 2. Add onion and cook until softened, about 3–4 minutes.
  • 3. Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • 4. Whisk in flour and cook 1 minute to remove raw taste.
  • 5. Slowly whisk in chicken broth until smooth.
  • 6. Add milk and heavy cream, stirring constantly.
  • 7. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook until slightly thickened.
  • 8. Stir in chicken, ham, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • 9. Reduce heat to low and stir in Swiss cheese until melted and creamy.
  • 10. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  • 11. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
