- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil (divided)
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1-inch piece ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 green onions, sliced (optional garnish)
- Sesame seeds (optional garnish)
- 1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, beef broth, sesame oil, sugar, and cornstarch. Set aside.
- 2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- 3. Add sliced beef and sear until browned but not fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
- 4. Add remaining oil, then sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- 5. Add broccoli florets and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until bright green and slightly tender.
- 6. Return beef to the pan, pour in sauce, and toss everything together.
- 7. Cook for 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens and beef is cooked through.
- 8. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
- 9. Serve hot over steamed rice.
