Chocolate Chip Crispy Cookies

Delightful crunchy cookies with a soft, chewy center that melts in your mouth.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream the unsalted butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Mix the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture gradually, stirring gently to combine.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets with space in between.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze them in a single layer for up to three months.
