Chocolate Oreo Cheesecake

A rich and creamy chocolate cheesecake with a crunchy Oreo crust, perfect for any celebration.

  • 200g Oreo cookies
  • 100g butter
  • 500g cream cheese
  • 150g sugar
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
  2. Prepare the Oreo cookies by crushing them into fine crumbs.
  3. Mix the crushed cookies with melted butter until well combined.
  4. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a Springform pan.
  5. Mix the cream cheese and sugar in a mixing bowl until smooth and creamy.
  6. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add the vanilla extract.
  7. Whip the heavy cream in a separate bowl until stiff peaks form, then gently fold it into the cheesecake mixture.
  8. Pour the filling over the prepared Oreo crust.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes.
  10. Cool the cheesecake at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Notes

For a lighter texture, use room temperature cream cheese and ensure the whipped cream is very stiff. Avoid over-baking to prevent cracks.
