Cinnamon Apple Tea: Warm, Cozy & Refreshing

Cozy, sweet, and fragrant Cinnamon Apple Tea a quick, healthy drink perfect for chilly days or relaxing evenings

Ingredients

  •     2 apples, thinly sliced,
  •     2–3 cinnamon sticks,
  •     4 cups water,
  •     Honey or maple syrup (optional),
  •     Lemon juice or fresh mint for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Combine water, apple cider or juice and spices in a medium saucepan. Bring mixture to a simmer; reduce heat, cover and simmer 10 minutes.
  • Turn off heat, add tea bags; cover and let steep 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and strain spices. Stir in maple syrup or sweetener of choice to taste.
  • Serve in mugs with a few thinly sliced apples in each and a cinnamon stick to stir.
