Cinnamon Cruffins

Flaky, buttery cruffins made from puff pastry, rolled in cinnamon sugar, and baked until golden brown the perfect easy breakfast treat or sweet snack!

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • Optional filling: Nutella, jam, or buttercream

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a muffin tin.
  • 2. In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
  • 3. Unfold the puff pastry sheet and brush lightly with melted butter.
  • 4. Sprinkle evenly with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • 5. Cut the pastry into 4–6 strips, then roll each strip into a spiral (like a cinnamon roll).
  • 6. Place each roll into a muffin cup, cut side up.
  • 7. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  • 8. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and dust with extra cinnamon sugar before serving.

Notes

  • For an extra indulgent twist, fill with Nutella or jam before rolling.
  • Best served warm but still delicious at room temperature.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat slightly before serving.
