Homemade Corned Beef

A classic corned beef recipe simmered with beer and vegetables for a hearty, flavorful dish.

Ingredients

  • Corned beef brisket
  • Beer
  • Cabbage
  • Baby potatoes
  • Carrots
  • Butter
  • Fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Place the Corned Beef Brisket in a large pot.
  2. Cover with beer and water.
  3. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  4. Reduce the heat and simmer for 2 hours.
  5. Add the carrots and baby potatoes.
  6. Add the cabbage and cook until tender.
  7. Remove from heat and let cool.
  8. Slice the corned beef against the grain.
  9. Serve with melted butter and fresh parsley.
