  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  • 1. Heat olive oil or bacon fat in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • 2. Add diced bacon or sausage and cook until crispy.
  • 3. Add onion and garlic; sauté until translucent.
  • 4. Add potatoes and cook until tender (if using).
  • 5. Stir in chopped cabbage, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • 6. Cook, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is wilted and browned, about 15-20 minutes.
