Cranberry Apple Coleslaw

A refreshing and vibrant twist on traditional coleslaw, combining crunchy cabbage, sweet apples, and tangy dried cranberries.

  • 4 cups green cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup apples, diced
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Vegetables and Fruit: Wash the cabbage, remove tough leaves, shred into thin strips, and place in a bowl.
  2. Dice the Apples: Core and dice apples into cubes, then add to the cabbage bowl.
  3. Add the Dried Cranberries: Measure and sprinkle cranberries into the bowl with cabbage and apples.
  4. Make the Dressing: Whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl.
  5. Combine Everything: Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss until evenly coated.
  6. Chill and Serve: Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to enhance flavors.

Notes

For better texture, prepare the dressing and slaw separately if not serving immediately.
