Creamy Avocado Grilled Cheese

A delicious twist on the classic grilled cheese, featuring creamy avocado and melty cheese for a rich and satisfying meal.

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 slices of cheese (e.g., cheddar, mozzarella)
  • Butter or oil for grilling
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mash the ripe avocado in a bowl with a fork until desired consistency is reached, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  2. Spread butter or oil on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Layer the mashed avocado on the unbuttered side of one slice of bread and top with cheese slices.
  4. Place the second slice of bread on top, buttered side facing out.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwich inside.
  6. Grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from heat and cut in half before serving warm.

Notes
