Creamy Pesto Pasta

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup pesto sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Begin by boiling a large pot of salted water. Once it reaches a rolling boil, add the pasta. Cook according to the package instructions until it is al dente, around 8-10 minutes. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
  2. Pour in the heavy cream into the same pot and place it on medium heat. Allow the cream to warm up while stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the pesto sauce to the simmering cream, stirring until well combined. Incorporate the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  4. Take the drained pasta and add it to the pot with the creamy pesto sauce, gently tossing until fully coated.
  5. Taste the mixture and season with salt and pepper as desired.
  6. Serve the Creamy Pesto Pasta hot, garnishing with fresh basil leaves for added flavor.

Notes
