  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) if baking. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • 2. Set up a dredging station with flour, beaten eggs, and a mixture of breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • 3. Dip onion rings first in flour, then eggs, then breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to coat.
  • 4. For frying: heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry rings until golden, about 2-3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  • 5. For baking: arrange rings on baking sheet, spray with oil, and bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy.
