Crockpot Christmas Jam Recipe

A festive slow cooker Christmas jam made with strawberries, cranberries, and warm holiday spices. Sweet, tangy, and perfect for gifting, spreading on toast, or serving with cheese boards.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups fresh or frozen strawberries, chopped
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 (1.75 oz) box powdered fruit pectin

Instructions

  • 1. Add strawberries, cranberries, sugar, orange juice, orange zest, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg to the crockpot.
  • 2. Stir well to combine.
  • 3. Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours, stirring occasionally, until fruit is very soft.
  • 4. Use an immersion blender or mash with a potato masher until desired consistency is reached.
  • 5. Stir in powdered pectin.
  • 6. Cover and cook on HIGH for an additional 20–30 minutes, stirring often, until thickened.
  • 7. Ladle hot jam into clean jars.
  • 8. Let cool completely before sealing and refrigerating.

Notes

  • Jam will thicken more as it cools.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks or freeze for longer storage.
  • Perfect for holiday gifting with decorative jars and labels.
