Crumbl Dark Dream Cookies

Rich, chewy cookies filled with melty chocolate chips, perfect for chocolate lovers and any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup Dutch processed cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until just combined.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, cocoa powder, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in 2/3 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  7. Shape the dough into eight balls and place them on the baking sheet, spaced 2 inches apart.
  8. Decorate each dough ball with a few extra chocolate chips and gently flatten them to 1 inch thick.
  9. Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool on the baking sheet for another 10 minutes.

Notes

Cookies are best served warm with melty chocolate. They can be stored in an airtight container for 4-5 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
