A delightful and colorful Easter salad made with fruits, marshmallows, and a creamy dressing, perfect for spring celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can fruit cocktail, drained
  • 1 can mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup Cool Whip
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Start by gathering all your ingredients together. Make sure to drain the fruit cocktail and mandarin oranges well to avoid excess liquid in your salad.
  2. Mix the Fruits: In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained fruit cocktail, mandarin oranges, and mini marshmallows. If using shredded coconut, add it now. Gently stir the ingredients together.
  3. Add the Creamy Element: Use a spatula or large spoon to gently fold in the Cool Whip.
  4. Flavoring: Pour in the vanilla extract.
  5. Final Touches: If desired, sprinkle chopped nuts on top. Gently mix everything together.
  6. Chill: Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes.

Notes

For added texture, sprinkle chopped nuts right before serving. It’s best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days.
