  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • 2. In a large bowl, whisk egg white and water until frothy.
  • 3. Add pecans and toss to coat evenly.
  • 4. In a separate bowl, mix sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  • 5. Sprinkle sugar mixture over pecans and toss until well coated.
  • 6. Spread pecans in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  • 7. Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes for even coating.
  • 8. Remove from oven and spread pecans apart to cool completely.
  • 9. Once cooled, break apart and store or serve.
