- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1–2 jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 egg, beaten for egg wash
- 1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar, jalapeños, garlic powder, and salt.
- 3. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface.
- 4. Spread cheese mixture evenly over half the pastry.
- 5. Fold pastry over and gently press to seal.
- 6. Cut into 1-inch wide strips.
- 7. Twist each strip several times and place on baking sheet.
- 8. Brush with beaten egg.
- 9. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and flaky.
