- 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Powdered sugar for dusting
- 1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9-inch loaf or round pan.
- 2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs and sugar until light and frothy.
- 3. Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract; whisk to combine.
- 4. Sift in flour, baking powder, and salt; mix until smooth.
- 5. Peel, core, and thinly slice apples using a mandoline or sharp knife.
- 6. Fold apple slices gently into the batter, coating each piece evenly.
- 7. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and press down lightly to flatten.
- 8. Bake 35–40 minutes, until golden and set in the center.
- 9. Cool completely before unmolding and dusting with powdered sugar.
