- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk, warm
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, diced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp strawberry puree
- 1–2 tbsp milk
- 1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar; let sit until foamy.
- 2. Add melted butter, egg, and salt; mix well.
- 3. Gradually add flour and knead until a soft dough forms.
- 4. Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- 5. Mix diced strawberries with brown sugar, cinnamon, and cornstarch.
- 6. Roll dough into a rectangle and spread strawberry mixture evenly over the surface.
- 7. Roll up tightly and slice into rolls.
- 8. Place rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.
- 9. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes until golden.
- 10. Whisk powdered sugar, strawberry puree, and milk to make glaze.
- 11. Drizzle glaze over warm rolls and serve.
