Garlic Butter Roasted Mushrooms

Tender, caramelized mushrooms roasted in rich garlic butter and herbs a simple yet irresistible side dish perfect for any meal.

  • 1 lb (450g) cremini or button mushrooms
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp thyme leaves
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • 2. Clean mushrooms and pat dry with paper towels.
  • 3. In a bowl, whisk melted butter, olive oil, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  • 4. Toss mushrooms in the butter mixture until evenly coated.
  • 5. Spread mushrooms on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  • 6. Roast for 20–25 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until golden and tender.
  • 7. Remove from oven, drizzle with lemon juice, and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
