Gorgeous Dried Orange Slices

Beautiful dried orange slices that are naturally sweet, lightly chewy, and perfectly crisp around the edges. Ideal for garnishing cocktails, decorating desserts, or using as edible holiday décor.

  • 34 fresh oranges (navel or blood oranges work best)

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 200°F (95°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • 2. Wash and dry oranges thoroughly.
  • 3. Slice oranges into thin rounds, about 1/8–1/4 inch thick.
  • 4. Arrange slices in a single layer on prepared baking sheets.
  • 5. Bake for 2–3 hours, flipping slices every 30–40 minutes, until fully dried.
  • 6. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely; slices will crisp as they cool.
  • 7. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.

Notes

  • For deeper color, use blood oranges or cara cara oranges.
  • Dry completely to prevent mold during storage.
  • Great for cocktails, charcuterie boards, cakes, or holiday wreaths.
