This Harvest Apple Feta Pizza combines sweet, crisp apples with tangy feta, caramelized onions, and a drizzle of honey for the perfect fall-inspired flatbread.

  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 apple (Honeycrisp or Fuji), thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • 2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook onions until caramelized, about 8–10 minutes.
  • 3. Roll out pizza dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • 4. Brush lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with mozzarella.
  • 5. Top with caramelized onions, apple slices, feta, and nuts.
  • 6. Season with salt, pepper, and thyme.
  • 7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until crust is golden and cheese melts.
  • 8. Drizzle with honey before serving and slice to enjoy warm.

Notes

  • Use naan or pita for a quick flatbread version.
  • Substitute feta with goat cheese for extra creaminess.
  • Add arugula on top after baking for a fresh finish.
