Classic Iowa Party Bites featuring seasoned ground beef and cream cheese wrapped in flaky crescent roll dough. These savory bite-sized snacks are perfect for gatherings and game day parties.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: shredded cheddar cheese for topping

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • 2. Cook ground beef and onion in a skillet until browned; drain fat.
  • 3. Mix cooked beef with softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • 4. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  • 5. Place a spoonful of beef mixture on the wide end of each triangle and roll up.
  • 6. Place on a baking sheet and bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 7. Optional: Top with shredded cheddar cheese and bake an extra 2 minutes until melted.
