  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Olive oil spray (for air fryer or baking)

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) or oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • 2. Separate the onion slices into rings.
  • 3. In a shallow bowl, whisk the eggs.
  • 4. In another bowl, mix almond flour, Parmesan, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • 5. Dip each onion ring into the egg, then coat it thoroughly with the almond flour mixture.
  • 6. Arrange the coated rings on a parchment-lined tray.
  • 7. Spray lightly with olive oil.
  • 8. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, or bake for 15–18 minutes until golden and crispy.
  • 9. Serve warm with sugar-free ketchup or spicy mayo.

  • For extra crunch, double-dip the rings in egg and coating.
