Mango Strawberry Sorbet

A refreshing and simple dessert made with ripe mangoes and strawberries, perfect for hot days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced (about 2 cups)
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup sugar (adjust based on sweetness preference)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruits by peeling the mangoes and cutting them into small cubes. Hull the strawberries and slice them into smaller pieces.
  2. Blend the diced mangoes, sliced strawberries, sugar, water, and lime juice (if using) in a blender or food processor.
  3. Smooth the mixture until it is creamy and there are no large chunks of fruit left.
  4. Taste the mixture and adjust the sugar or lime juice if needed.
  5. Pour the blend into a shallow, freezer-safe dish and cover tightly.
  6. Chill in the freezer for about 4 to 6 hours until completely solid, stirring every couple of hours.

Notes

For best texture, let sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before scooping. Garnish with fresh mint or fruit slices if desired.
