Nutella Banana Swirl Muffins

Deliciously moist muffins swirled with Nutella and ripe bananas, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Nutella

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a muffin tin with paper liners.
  3. Mix the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  4. Add the melted butter and stir.
  5. Stir in the baking soda and a pinch of salt.
  6. Incorporate the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
  7. Gradually add the flour and mix gently until combined.
  8. Fill each muffin cup halfway with batter.
  9. Add a dollop of Nutella on top and swirl with a knife.
  10. Bake for 18-20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Cool the muffins on a wire rack.

Notes

For best results, use very ripe bananas and avoid overmixing the batter.
