- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1. In a bowl, toss sliced steak with soy sauce and cornstarch; set aside for 10 minutes.
- 2. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
- 3. Add beef and sear quickly until just browned; remove and set aside.
- 4. Add remaining oil to the skillet and sauté bell peppers and onion until crisp-tender.
- 5. Add garlic and black pepper; cook until fragrant.
- 6. Return beef to the skillet and stir to combine.
- 7. Pour in beef broth, oyster sauce, and sugar.
- 8. Cook for 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens and coats the beef.
- 9. Remove from heat and serve hot.
