Pizza Bombs

Cheesy, saucy, and golden brown these pizza bombs are the ultimate snack or appetizer, packed with gooey mozzarella, pepperoni, and flavorful pizza sauce inside soft, fluffy dough.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough or refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 24 mini pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce (plus more for dipping)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • 2. Divide the pizza dough into 12 equal pieces and roll into small balls.
  • 3. Flatten each dough ball into a 3-inch circle.
  • 4. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of pizza sauce in the center of each circle.
  • 5. Add mozzarella cheese and 2 pepperoni slices on top of the sauce.
  • 6. Pinch the edges together to seal the filling completely and form a ball.
  • 7. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  • 8. Brush each dough ball with olive oil or butter, then sprinkle with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and Parmesan.
  • 9. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden and puffed.
  • 10. Garnish with parsley and serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, brush with garlic butter after baking.
  • You can fill these with cooked sausage, veggies, or different cheeses.
  • Freeze before baking for a quick snack later just bake from frozen, adding a few extra minutes.
