Sausage Breakfast Pizza

This hearty Sausage Breakfast Pizza combines savory sausage, creamy eggs, gooey cheese, and a golden crust perfect for brunch, meal prep, or weekend mornings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 1 pre-baked pizza crust (or homemade dough)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup pizza or country gravy
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • 2. In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Drain excess grease.
  • 3. In a bowl, whisk eggs with milk, salt, and pepper. Scramble lightly in a nonstick pan until just set.
  • 4. Place the pizza crust on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
  • 5. Spread gravy evenly over the crust as the sauce base.
  • 6. Top with cooked sausage, scrambled eggs, and both cheeses.
  • 7. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • 8. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add crumbled bacon or diced peppers.
  • Use sausage gravy instead of pizza sauce for a Southern twist.
