Seafood Lasagna with Lobster and Shrimp Recipe

An elegant and indulgent seafood lasagna layered with tender lobster, juicy shrimp, creamy béchamel sauce, and melted cheeses. Perfect for holidays, special occasions, or when you want to impress.

  • 9 lasagna noodles, cooked al dente
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • 2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  • 3. In a saucepan, melt butter with olive oil over medium heat.
  • 4. Add onion and cook until soft, about 3–4 minutes.
  • 5. Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds.
  • 6. Whisk in flour and cook 1 minute.
  • 7. Gradually whisk in milk and cream until smooth.
  • 8. Simmer until thickened, then season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  • 9. In a bowl, mix ricotta, lobster, shrimp, parsley, and lemon juice.
  • 10. Spread a thin layer of sauce in a baking dish.
  • 11. Layer noodles, seafood-ricotta mixture, sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  • 12. Repeat layers, finishing with sauce and cheese on top.
  • 13. Cover with foil and bake 30 minutes.
  • 14. Uncover and bake 10–15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  • 15. Rest 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Use cooked lobster tails or claw meat for best texture.
  • Do not overcook shrimp before baking they finish cooking in the oven.
  • Serve with a crisp green salad and white wine.
