Simple Pasta with Spinach

A quick and easy pasta dish with fresh spinach, garlic, and Parmesan cheese, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (such as spaghetti or penne)
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta by boiling water in a large pot and adding a pinch of salt. Add in your pasta and cook until al dente for about 8-10 minutes. Drain the pasta and do not rinse.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Sauté the minced garlic in the hot olive oil for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the fresh spinach and cook for about 2-3 minutes until it wilts.
  5. Combine the drained pasta with the garlic and spinach in the skillet, and toss to coat.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Finish with the grated Parmesan cheese and stir gently to combine.

Notes

Serve warm, optionally topped with extra Parmesan and a drizzle of olive oil or a squeeze of lemon juice.
