Spaghetti Squash Delight

A healthy, low-carb alternative to traditional pasta made with roasted spaghetti squash and marinara sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium spaghetti squash
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the spaghetti squash by cutting it in half lengthwise and scooping out the seeds.
  3. Season the cut sides with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Roast the squash cut side down on a baking sheet for 30-40 minutes until tender.
  5. Scrape the flesh with a fork to create strands.
  6. Combine the spaghetti squash strands in a bowl with marinara sauce.
  7. Top with grated Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh basil.

Notes

Spaghetti Squash Delight can be served as a main dish or a side. Customize with vegetables or different cheeses as desired.
