Spiderweb Crepes

These spooky Spiderweb Crepes are a fun and delicious Halloween breakfast or dessert! Light, buttery crepes shaped like spiderwebs and drizzled with chocolate syrup for a hauntingly sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Butter or oil for greasing the pan
  • Chocolate syrup or melted chocolate, for decorating
  • Powdered sugar (optional)

Instructions

  • 1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and salt.
  • 2. In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
  • 3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry, whisking until the batter is lump-free.
  • 4. Transfer some of the batter into a squeeze bottle or piping bag with a small tip.
  • 5. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  • 6. Use the squeeze bottle to draw a spiderweb pattern with the batter in the hot pan.
  • 7. Cook for 1–2 minutes, then carefully flip and cook for another 15–20 seconds.
  • 8. Repeat with remaining batter.
  • 9. Serve warm drizzled with chocolate syrup, powdered sugar, or fresh fruit.

Notes

  • You can tint the crepe batter with a few drops of black or orange food coloring for a festive look.
  • These crepes pair perfectly with whipped cream, Nutella, or fresh strawberries.
  • Best served immediately, but can be stored covered in the fridge for up to 2 days.
