  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup strawberry pie filling or strawberry preserves
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • 2. Roll out puff pastry slightly and cut into heart shapes.
  • 3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  • 4. Score a smaller heart inside each pastry, being careful not to cut through.
  • 5. Spoon cream cheese mixture into the center of each heart.
