Instructions

  • 1. In a large bowl, combine shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt.
  • 2. Mix until fully combined and sticky.
  • 3. If using, fold in mini chocolate chips or chopped nuts.
  • 4. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of mixture and roll into a ball.
  • 5. Roll each ball generously in powdered sugar until coated.
  • 6. Place snowballs on a parchment-lined tray.
  • 7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  • 8. Store chilled until ready to serve.

Notes

  • For extra coconut flavor, lightly toast the coconut before mixing.
  • Add a drop of almond extract for variation.
