Truffle Parmesan Potato Chips

Crispy, golden potato chips tossed with fragrant truffle oil and freshly grated Parmesan an indulgent, gourmet snack that’s impossible to resist.

Ingredients

  • 2 large russet potatoes
  • 2 tbsp truffle oil
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  • 1. Scrub and thinly slice potatoes using a mandoline or sharp knife.
  • 2. Soak slices in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
  • 3. Drain and pat dry thoroughly with paper towels.
  • 4. Heat vegetable oil in a large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  • 5. Fry potato slices in batches until golden and crisp, about 3–4 minutes.
  • 6. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  • 7. Toss warm chips with truffle oil, Parmesan, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • 8. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use white or black truffle oil depending on your preference.
  • For a lighter version, bake chips at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
